Ukai the Spirit of Energy
The incarnation of Energy, thunder and electricity. Ukai is believed to have no permanent home, and instead to be in constant movement all around Eifel, being unable to keep still for long periods of time due to the immense amount of energy circulating though it's body. Even when summoned, Ukai's body is in some sort of movement, vibrating wings, swishing tail, antennae twitching every other moment, small electrical currents running between them. Ukai is a an unreasonably large insectoid resembling a Dragon Fly or more likely a massive Fey Fly. It’s body alone is the size of a VW Bug and it’s body and wings are golden yellow. Ukai glows from both the inside of it’s body and the lined sections of it’s wings. As Ukai moves about Eifel, invisibly fast, the friction of it’s wing movement and the movement of tiny hairs covering it’s back legs draw energy from the air and store it within Ukai's body, so that it can be released later. This is not only how Ukai helps Asagi to create storms, but also where Ukai gets it's sustenance from, it's body feeding on the extra reserves of energy not needed for storms or magic.
In battle, Ukai has access to all the lightning spells, it can also attack opponents with it’s sharp insect mandibles and it’s powerful sectioned tail, which is nearly impossible to avoid due to its blinding speed. In addition, it’s tail can also release stored electricity when it strikes, hitting them with both a physical and elemental attack. Ukai can also vibrate it’s wings to create a powerful sonic attack. When it is dismissed, Ukai zips off, unable to remain so still for that long; it almost always causes a large gust of wind as air rushes in to fill the previously occupied space.
